Binaytara Foundation is a leading global oncology nonprofit, dedicated to reducing cancer health disparities around the world. Our mission is to improve access to cancer care, enhance continuing medical education, and foster implementation science research in hematology and oncology, thereby reducing the global burden of cancer. As the largest cancer conference organizer in the US, we impact thousands of doctors and oncology/hematology practitioners who attend our conferences to stay current on cutting-edge treatments for their patients. As a leader in global oncology, we have partnered with local government and health organizations in Nepal to operate the only cancer hospital in Madhesh Province, deliver cervical cancer screenings, provide nurse training and establish the first bone marrow transplant center in the country. In India, we have partnered with government institutions to establish a palliative care program in Madhya Pradesh. We are beginning construction in 2024 on a comprehensive 200-bed cancer center in Janakpur, Nepal that will dramatically improve access to cancer care in Nepal and surrounding communities.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an analytical and creative Digital marketing Coordinator to join our communications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital media tactics to enhance Binaytara Foundation’s online brand awareness, grow our following and engagement on social media, increase our website visits and SEO rankings, and support our mission. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills, a passion for engaging audiences through digital media, and a commitment to improving health equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Develop, curate, and manage engaging campaigns and posts for Binaytara Foundation’s digital platforms, including website and social media.
    • Collaborate with team members, researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to translate complex scientific information into accessible and compelling content.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Plan and create social media campaigns and posts with a mindset for increasing followers, engagement and brand awareness across our social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
    • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to trends and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Digital Campaigns:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid social media, search engine marketing (SEM), and display advertising.
  • Website Management:
    • Update and maintain content on Binaytara Foundation’s websites using content management systems (CMS).
    • Ensure web content is optimized for SEO and SEM and adheres to best practices for accessibility and user experience.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to track and report on digital media performance.
    • Provide regular reports and presentations to the marketing and communications team and senior leadership to provide insights on continually increasing social media followers and website traffic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in digital media, social media management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and content creation.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including CMS, social media management tools, and analytics software.
  • Professional experience  implementing SEO best practices and SEM.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Strong creative skills to come up with engaging social media campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess our performance and adapt to optimize our digital content for growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Ads certification and social media marketing certification.
  • Experience working for a high growth or high volume social media account.
  • Experience with marketing automation software.
