Hematology Scholars to Be Recognized at 2024 Summit on Hematological Cancers

The Binaytara Foundation (BTF) is set to host its prestigious Annual Summit on Hematologic Cancers from October 11th, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee, gathering some of the most prominent names in the field of blood cancer research. The three-day event will provide a dynamic platform for healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to exchange insights on the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.

Designed to enhance learners’ understanding and skills by incorporating groundbreaking clinical data and expert insights to improve treatment outcomes for patients with blood cancers, the CME-accredited event will feature comprehensive discussions on recent scientific breakthroughs and transformative advancements, supported by case studies specific to hematologic malignancies.

Expert-led sessions will focus on the clinical application of various therapeutic options and explore how these treatments can be optimally integrated into patient care to maximize effectiveness.

3) Dr. Ayo Falade, Fellow at the Mayo Clinic and recipient of the SCHD Early Career Advancement Award.

4) Dr. Fahmin Basher, Fellow at Duke University.

5) Dr. Paolo Lopedote, Fellow at City of Hope.

6) Dr. Shinto Francis Thekkudan, Consultant and Chief of Clinical Hematology and Hemato Oncology at Baby Memorial Hospital in Kerala, India.

7) Andrew Pierce, MD, Internal Medicine Resident, PGY-2 – interested in Hematology/Oncology, learning under Daniel Ermann at University of Utah Health.

8) Neha Akkad, MD, Hematology/Oncology Fellow at MD Anderson.
