Position Overview: We seek a dynamic and strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This pivotal role combines marketing acumen with communications expertise to elevate the foundation’s profile, engage stakeholders, and support fundraising and programmatic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and communications plans, with a passion for making a difference in the healthcare sector.


Work Schedule: Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. However, the employee may be required to work on weekends when there is a conference or another event taking place during the weekend.

Travel Required: This position may require travel to our project sites and conference locations, including overnight staysTravels will include weekends and may involve driving as well as air.

Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Compensation: $85,500 to 98,500 per year DOE

On-site Role: This is an on-site position based in Bellevue, WA. No remote option available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop and implement integrated marketing and communications strategies to support the foundation’s objectives, enhance visibility, and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Brand Management:Oversee the foundation’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual branding across all channels and materials.
  • Content Creation:Collaborate with internal and external teams to lead and facilitate the creation of compelling content, including marketing collateral, press releases, website content, newsletters, and social media posts, that effectively communicate the foundation’s impact and initiatives.
  • Digital Marketing:Manage digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media advertising, SEO/SEM, and website optimization, to increase engagement and support fundraising activities.
  • Media Relations:Collaborate with internal and external teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverage and amplify the foundation’s news and stories.
  • Social Media Management:Oversee the foundation’s social media strategy, ensuring an active and engaging presence across platforms, audience growth, and engagement.
  • Event Promotion:Work closely with the continuing education and events team to market foundation events, including conferences, workshops, and fundraisers, maximizing attendance and revenue generation.
  • Analytics and Reporting:Monitor and analyze marketing and communications metrics to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies. Provide regular reports on performance against goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Implement marketing and communication strategies aimed at maximizing engagement with donors, partners, volunteers, and the community to foster relationships and support for the foundation’s mission.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:Lead the marketing and communications team, including our marketing consultants, fostering a collaborative environment and work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and support for their objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong professional experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in marketing and communications, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing and communications strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in brand management and promotional campaigns.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM Software, and Adobe Creative Suite.
