The Center for Women’s Cancer Access and Advocacy (CWCAA), established within the Binaytara Foundation, addresses the urgent need for improved cancer care, prevention, and support services for women in the United States and globally. The center focuses on education, program development, research, advocacy, and infrastructure building to enhance women’s cancer health outcomes, reduce disparities, and empower individuals and communities worldwide to tackle women’s cancer health challenges effectively.

Projects:
- Cervical Cancer Screening in Nepal: We conduct pap smears for preventive cervical cancer tests, as well as diagnostics.
- Women’s Cancer Center in Nepal: We run a 25-bed cancer hospital in Janakpur, Nepal where we treat women’s cancers from breast cancer to cervical cancer by providing chemotherapy, surgery, diagnostics and palliative care. We are building a 200-bed comprehensive cancer center that will add radiation oncology to our suite of services. Construction on the new hospital is planned to start in February 2025.
- Advocacy: We partner with local and national government representatives to focus on policy changes, funding, and programs designed to improve women’s cancer care in Nepal.
