BTF is now accepting medical research grant applications through July 31, 2014. You must be registered with the website to access the application form. BTF provides medical research grant to medical students, resident physicians and MBBS doctors for conducting research in their proposed topic. Based on availability of budget, one or more grants are awarded.
Binaytara Foundation has partnered with Council of Medical Students of Nepal (CoMS) for disseminating the information about its medical research grant opportunities to among medical students in Nepal. Mukesh Kumar Sah of BPKIHS, Dharan is appointed as BTF volunteer and oversee this activity.
BTF Medical Research Grant recipients Raksha Shrestha and Mingma Sherpa‘s research findings have been published in a medical journal. Their paper titled "Incidence of dysmenorrhoea associated with high stress scores among the undergraduate Nepalese medical students" was published on December 2010 issue of Journal of Institute of Medicine.
