Dr. Ramesh KC represented BTF in "The Practical Innovator" hosted by Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management on Tuesday, September 28th. The one day workshop scholarship, valued at $2,500, was awarded, free-of-charge, to this year’s Top 75 Chicago Innovation Award nominees. According to Dr. KC the event "was an overall stimulating day where representatives from diverse fields got opportunity to interact."
Expert Kellogg faculty that teach the practical skills of innovation, including Mohan Sawhney, Tom Kuczmarski and James Conley gave insight into innovation strategy, process and culture, and about patent and intellectual property issues. Few past winners like Cleversafe, Savo group, etc. gave talks on the problems faced by the new innovators, their possible solutions and on the impact of the Chicago Innovation Award on their ventures.
