BTF creates Resource Guide for Medical Professionals

BTF announces The Resource Guide for Medical Professionals. Dr. Andrew Trotter, Infectious Disease fellow at Tufts School of Medicine has taken a lead to create the resource guide. It has been created to harness the power of the internet and online collaboration in much the same way that our BTF telemedicine project does. World-wide, the internet has become a source of information, guidance and a discussion forum for providers from many medical disciplines. We created this guide to provide a resource for health care providers in Nepal to evaluate, diagnose, manage and treat a wide array of medical problems. The objectives of this project include providing evidence based practice guidelines and resources for continued medical education. We hope to provide a link to the most up to date and cutting edge resources for the management of disease while also linking providers to resources which will be most appropriate and useful to practice environments found in developing countries like Nepal and India.
