The Binaytara foundation (BTF) is pleased to announce that Dr. Smith Giri of Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University has been selected as the recipient of BTF Medical Research Grant 2011. The grant will support Dr. Giri’s study "Intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) and its correlates: a case-control study in a tertiary level hospital of Nepal."
Each year BTF awards such grants to medical students and trainees to encourage them to understand and practice evidence-based medicine early in their careers. Winners are selected by BTF scientific advisory committee.
